Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was brought up in the multicultural home of a family. Padukone's native language is Konkani. The model is Mangalorean in her origins. Padukone is a village in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District.
